My second daughter has never appeared on this site before. Not intentionally i hasten to add, it's just that i didn't think i had an image of her i liked enough to post. Lack of new material has made me revisit some older images and i found this. This was shot at a very high ISO of 1600. Same old mistake, i hadn't checked the settings before shooting. This one's for you Uche, enjoy!
Blimey I wish I had portraits that good just tucked away. I think it is very good and wouldnt have guessed at the ISO. I allways get my settings in a muddle for at least the 1st 5 frames. Keith @ Wednesday 11 January 2006
Thats a good shot, little visible noise from the high ISO and nicely lit. Cool. SteveO @ Wednesday 11 January 2006
That's lovely - the high ISO isn't noticeable on the image at all. The soft lighting is perfect. owen @ Wednesday 11 January 2006
I don't know anything about ISO, but it's quite a beautiful shot... and you have a beautiful daughter as well. Jeru @ Wednesday 11 January 2006
wonderful portrait-did you use noise reduction? I don't see the effects of high iso Gary @ Wednesday 11 January 2006
This is a lovely portrait. The high ISO has had no discernable effect, and there's lots of good detail in your daughter's skin. It's a very pretty natural smile, and the focus is perfectly centred on her eyes with excellent catch-lights. It's a really excellent portrait. Perhaps you should sort through those old archives a bit more if there are gems like this tucked away in there. CurlyToes @ Wednesday 11 January 2006
nice portrait...very sharp Brandon @ Wednesday 11 January 2006
Great portrait! Lovely girl! Sidney @ Thursday 12 January 2006
I dont notice any noise, but my monitor is quite dirty and hard to tell anyway - really gotta get a new one soon.
This is a great portrait, she has a wonderful smile. Phil @ Thursday 12 January 2006
Lovely portrait. Uchechi looks good in this.
