• I like the idea and I kind of agree with Chris. Did you try focusing on one of the pins in the middle-back? I'm not sure but I really do like this concept.

• Yeah I dunno really, I love shallow depth of field. I am obsessed with it. I feel this needs either an increased shallow DoF, with very minute focus or a depp DoF leaving no pin unsharp. Perhaps change the composition so that the pins aren't quite so symetrical. Look at historical images of this guy and his blobs of colour www.round-here.net may give you some food for thought Chuks.

• Hi Chuks I like the idea of your pin shots, but I think that all of them look as if they had to much post-proccesing. The colors look at bit off - maybe a bit too saturated?

• I agree with what most people have said. I love the idea, but focussing further back might've helped, or increasing the DoF a bit. I also think a similar shot with pins going to all corners of the photo might work (although it's alot more work to set them all out!)
