I shot this yesterday afternoon at the Albert Memorial in Kensington. The original image was properly exposed for the statues and sky, but while processing the RAW image i underexposed the shot to get a deeper blue sky. I played with the contrast too, to get the whites much brighter. I am quite pleased with the end result.
Love the way the bright foreground has underexposed the sky to give it that deep blue colour. CurlyToes @ Tuesday 4 July 2006
I like the graphic effect of the blue and white. I do however wonder what it would like like with a bit more detail in the sculpture. Any chance of reprocessing it with two different exposures and blending them so that you retain some detail in the sculpture? Just a thought.
